Context

Hurricane Helene caused an estimated $59.6 billion in damage and recovery needs across North Carolina. In Asheville's River Arts District, more than 350 artists were displaced and 80 percent of buildings were destroyed. River Arts District Artists (RADA) is working toward the Creative Arts Campus, a permanent home for art, resilience, and community.

•Led a design charrette with RADA artists to brainstorm the intersection of art and resiliency.
•Research alternative fundraising strategies, bridge funding opportunities, and associated timelines.
•Support the Creative Arts Campus, a $7.5 million permanent home for a community of artists, by generating and expanding ideas for its function as a resiliency hub.
•Develop a newsletter strategy to increase awareness of RADA's mission and drive fundraising.
